Fire & Burglary Insurance
Protect your shop, office, warehouse or factory and its stock.

A single fire or break-in can shut a business. Fire insurance covers your building, plant, machinery, furniture and stock against fire and allied perils such as storm, flood, earthquake and riots. Most small and medium businesses buy IRDAI's standard Bharat Sookshma or Laghu Udyam Suraksha policies. Burglary insurance adds theft after forcible entry.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if my stock value is higher than insured?
You may be under-insured and the claim reduced proportionately. We help you set the right sum insured and review it when stock levels change.
Which standard policy fits my business?
Bharat Sookshma Udyam Suraksha applies to total asset values up to ₹5 crore at one location, and Bharat Laghu Udyam Suraksha to values above ₹5 crore up to ₹50 crore. Larger risks use other property policies.
Is burglary included in fire insurance?
No, burglary is a separate cover or add-on. We usually quote both together.
